Murray Fenton and Adept - 40 years young

history

From his backyard in 1969 Murray Fenton founded a company that now leads the New Zealand Plastic Processing and Product Development industry, fully integrated from Concept Design to Manufacture to Marketing.

Taking a philosophy that “Adept is a company that takes pride in making products that improve people’s lives” Murray has continually sought and attained the best people, machines and processes to achieve this.

Adept’s services have assisted many other New Zealand manufacturers to produce world class products and today more than 95% of the products leaving Adept’s factory are exported.

Developing and Marketing specialised products for the Meat Processing Industry, Adept’s Beef Clip alone has sold 2 Billion units setting an international standard in Meat Contamination control.

In 2012 Adept started Carbon Fibre Epoxy Infusion Composite manufacturing and now exports unique Red Dot Awarded specialised medical devices worldwide.

Now over 40 years from small beginnings – Murray’s passion for developing quality products continues – sustained and driven by the team that is Adept.
