This role will report directly to the General Manager and Product Design Manager. You will be working alongside both Adept and Adept Medical team to facilitate the delivery of the company’s marketing strategies. The Role You will see this role as unique and exciting where no two days are the same. As a Marketing and Communications guru, you will be exposed to a diverse range of tasks which will include but not limited to:
  • Organizing and executing the development and implementation of Adepts marketing communications initiatives
  • Market research assessing commercial opportunities, press releases, social media platforms and marketing campaigns
  • Effectively communicating and working alongside both internal and external parties – graphic designers, web developers, facilitators.
  • Developing marketing campaigns and programs including setting budgets and managing expenditure
  • Oversee marketing collateral including product brochures and product instruction usage
  • Proactively manage the company’s online presence and be able to generate engaging content to attract target markets
To be successful in this role: You will need to be the type of person who can deal with everyone, both internally and externally in a professional and helpful way where each customer will feel that their best interest is at the heart of the company. The ideal candidate will:
  • Have great organizational skills and keen eye for detail
  • High level of initiative
  • Copywriting skills
  • At least 3-5 years marketing experience in social and digital marketing
  • Tertiary background in marketing or relevant

Maintenance Engineer

The Role: Located in Central Auckland, Adept Ltd is currently on the lookout for a new Maintenance Engineer to join our technical team. You will be an integral member of the team who can uphold the values through bringing your hands on diagnostic and fault fixing skills, strong work ethic and collaboration skills to our existing hardworking and supportive team. This is a perfect role for a fitter turner/fitter welder who is looking for a role that will keep you on your toes. Your primary role will consist of:
  • Ensuring equipment is available and reliable so as to maximize production utilisation
  • Provide engineering and mechanical services to plant, including maintenance and repair
  • Monitoring machineries and plant for safety considerations, especially guards and emergency stops identifying and correcting potential defects
  • Troubleshooting and facilitating improvements in equipment to avoid breakdowns
To be considered, suitable candidates must have:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • At least 5+ years working experience in a similar role ideal
  • Be self-motivated and take ownership, with the ability to work without supervision
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good knowledge in Hydraulics, Pneumatics and light fabrication
  • Confidence in mechanical fittings
  • Electrical experience will be advantageous but not essential

Automation Technician

The Role: Located in Central Auckland, Adept Ltd is currently on the lookout for a new Automation Technician to join our technical team. You will be an integral member of the team who can uphold the values through bringing your hands on diagnostic and collaboration skills to our existing hardworking and supportive team. The primary role is to ensure that you continuously monitor robots designed to produce products molded from plastic injections. Previous experience working with plastic mold injections would be an advantage. Your day will involve analysing production processes, develop automation solutions and regularly calibrating and repairing equipment within the warehouse. To be successful in this rule, you must be able to think on your feet. Your strong diagnostic skills and attention to details will be your strong suit. To be considered, suitable candidates must have:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with plastic mold injection
  • Basic understanding on how to create a functional robot programme
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and take ownership, with the ability to work without supervision
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of automation machinery and fault finding
  • Confidence in mechanical fittings

Maintenance Toolmaker

Adept Ltd is a highly successful family owned and operated business for over 50 years. We are an award winning designer and manufacturer of plastic injection moulded products with a well-established local and international client base.

We are currently looking for a maintenance toolmaker to join our team. This is a newly created role and we are on the hunt for someone who will have experience and familiarity with plastic injection moulding.

What your role will entail?

Where no two days will be the same this role will involve maintaining and servicing our injection mould tools as well as general machining and jobbing work. There is plenty of opportunity for growth and additional training is on offer depending on your area of interest.

To be successful in this role
